The landscape of reproductive rights, choice, justice, and freedom in the United States is at an incredibly perilous juncture. As of 2025, abortion is banned in twelve states and inaccessible in eleven others. Medication abortion, contraception, STD testing, invitro fertilization treatments, and other services across the spectrum of reproductive care are under threat.
Because almost all of these developments are fueled by conservative and anti-choice religious groups, it is critical for progressive people of faith to fight back on our shared ground—religion and theology.
The Religion and Repro Learning Center will help ground you in the larger historical, cultural, and political contexts that have brought us to this point in history. Hello! We're the Religious Community for Reproductive Choice (RCRC), the organization that powers the Learning Center.
We're a community of faithful and spiritual people who are committed to fulfilling the sacred task of dismantling and healing religiously-based abortion stigma and shame.
